Job Description
In this position you will be a member of Markit! Forestry's management team and you will report to the Vice President of Operations.
Location: Markit!’s office in Colorado Springs, CO
Travel: 10 - 25%
Duties:
+ Oversee forestry projects from bidding and proposal through execution:
+ Attend project pre-bid meetings
+ Responsible for cost estimate generation
+ Read project prescriptions to understand the timeline, workflow, equipment and staffing needed for bidding
+ Write detailed technical and business proposals
+ Customer collaboration
+ Read, understand, and manage complex contracts
+ Budget preparation and project controls planning
+ Subcontractor development and management
+ Obtain appropriate permits and licenses
+ Cost controls/job status reports
