Operations Manager – Ipswich & Higham
Permanent | Full-Time | Mon–Fri (flexibility required)
We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our busy plant at Ipswich & Higham
You’ll oversee a complex operation where safety, people leadership and efficiency are key.
What you’ll do
Lead, coach and develop a motivated operational team
Ensure safe, compliant and efficient running of plant, railhead and recycling operations
Manage budgets, stock control and operational KPIs
Oversee planned maintenance and statutory inspections
Maintain SOPs, risk assessments and safety systems
Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks and support continuous improvement
What we’re looking for
Experience managing Asphalt, Aggregates or Ready Mix operations
Strong knowledge of H&S, environmental compliance and production processes
Confident with SAP and Microsoft Office
