Role Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Minimum 5 years experience within an operational or technical management role
Previous experience within mining, industrial technology, or mining safety systems environments will be advantageous
Knowledge of mining operations, collision prevention systems, and proximity detection technology
Understanding of CAN-bus systems and digital lamproom management systems will be advantageous
Working knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and DMR requirements relating to collision prevention systems
Strong leadership, operational management, and people management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to work within underground and surface mining environments
Valid drivers licence
Good overall health and ability to pass a mine medical examination
