Job Responsibilities
Plan and organize vessel marine, terminal, and landside operations to meet Principals’ and Masters’ requirements.
Ensure full compliance with Port Authorities’ rules, regulations, and operational requirements.
Monitor and manage performance of vendors, including terminal operators and subcontractors.
Oversee transshipment activities, including cargo coordination, vessel nominations, and documentation submissions.
Supervise stowage, berthing, and marine operations, ensuring proper coordination, reporting, and execution by the team.
Handle operational cost verification and prepare accurate managerial reports (weekly and monthly).
Manage ship husbandry activities, including port clearance, crew change, bunkering, and coordination of Masters’ requests (e.g., supplies, repairs, surveys, medical support, waste handling).
