ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and suppliers.Respond to both external and internal client inquiries.Coordinate and oversee daily trucking operations, ensuring timely and efficient freight movement.Support airfreight operations, including documentation, bookings, and airline coordination.Communicate with vendors/suppliers regarding dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.Prepare documentation for Truck shipments , and customs clearance processes.Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, providing proactive updates to clients.Seek the most profitable mode of shipment while meeting client requirements.Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and maximize profitability.Handle exceptions and resolve issues related to delays or service failures.Maintain accurate records and support invoicing.
