Job Description

Location: Alhambra, CA (Onsite)

Position Summary:

The Wafer Fab Operator is responsible for independent execution of wafer fabrication processes in an InP-based photonics manufacturing environment. This role supports the production of lasers, gain chips, and other III-V photonic devices by operating advanced semiconductor equipment, maintaining process control, and ensuring high-quality wafer output.

The Op2 operator works with moderate supervision and plays a key role in process stability, yield improvement, and WIP flow management.

Responsibilities:

Wafer Processing & Equipment Operation:

  • Independently operate semiconductor equipment, including:Photolithography tools (spin coat, mask aligner, developer)Dry etch systems (ICP/RIE) and chemical wet etch stationsThin film deposition (PECVD, sputtering)
  • Execute process steps according to SOPs and process recipes
