Our client, a specialized medical practice located in the Helderberg area, is currently seeking an experienced Ophthalmic /Medical Assistant to join their dedicated team
Requirements
- Previous work experience within a practice
- Reliable and high work ethic
- Able to work under pressure
- Nursing skills beneficial
- Willing to work as part of a team
Duties will include, but not be limited to
- Provide patient education based on the diagnosis and treatment plan.
- Ordering lenses and medical supplies
- Perform comprehensive eye examination and vision tests according to patient needs and history, and type reports and send to service providers
- Assist with in-room procedures
- Following the necessary protocol and ensuring equipment is sterile and cleanliness of the practice is adhered to
