Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MS/DOMS/DNB) students per the medical council curriculum. Conduct and supervise lectures, practicals, clinical teaching, and seminars. Manage outpatient and inpatient services in the Ophthalmology department. Perform and assist in surgeries such as cataract, glaucoma, squint, etc. Guide and evaluate PG thesis work and academic progress. Maintain academic records, prepare internal assessments, and support exam-related responsibilities. Participate in institutional committees and quality initiatives. Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualification: MS / MD / DNB in Ophthalmology (Recognized by NMC) Experience: Minimum 4 years as Assistant Professor (as per NMC norms) Registration: Valid State Medical Council or NMC Registration Desirable Skills: Strong academic knowledge and clinical skills Excellent teaching and mentoring abilities Proficient in handling modern ophthalmic equipment Active involvement in research and publ...
