Job Description
Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a motivated and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to support the delivery of high-quality ophthalmic services within the directorate. This post has been developed to provide additional capacity, enhance service resilience and support the existing team in maintaining safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
- Cataract clinics and theatre lists
- Subspecialty clinics (glaucoma and/or medical retina)
- Trauma cover
- Review of emergency inpatients at West Middlesex
- Core Supporting Professional Activities (SPA)
- Flexible Direct Clinical Care (DCC) sessions – injections, clinics, theatre lists and validation work
Qualifications and Training
- Full GMC Registration
- Relevant CCT or equivalent (equivalence confirmed by PMET/GMC as required)
