Ophthalmic Technician
***Requires one Saturday shift per month on rotation from 8am-12pm***
Required:
- 2 year of experience
- Optos Experience
- BLS (AHA and ARC)
- Flu Vaccinated (no exemptions/no declinations)
Preferred:
- Graduation from an accredited program for Ophthalmic Techs
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
The Ophthalmic Technician is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clinical functions to include scheduling and greeting patients; scheduling surgeries; performing diagnostic and eye function tests including clinical optics, ocular motility, visual fields, keratometry, topography, A –Scans, and Schirmer test; assisting with office surgical procedures; administering topical medications or diagnostic drugs as required by the ophthalmologist for testing or treatment.
