Job Description
The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking candidates with various subspecialties at Instructor, Assistant Professor or, Associate Professor levels, to join the active department that covers all subspecialties, with an active residency program.
Candidates must have displayed interest in academic Ophthalmology, with fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease, Retina and Vitreous, Glaucoma, Refractive and Cataract Surgery, Oculoplastic and Orbit Surgery, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Uveitis, or Pediatric Ophthalmology.
Candidates must also have a research background as well as academic commitment to research and teaching. Candidates are preferably to be eligible for or certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology or its equivalent.
Candidates are expected to cover the clinical service at Keserwan Medical Center (KMC) - owned by AUB - in addition for having clinical privileges at FM/AUBMC.
