We’re hiring to fill a current vacancy at Factory Optical, Prince Albert – partners of solis optics – as an Optician. Our new management has recently taken over Factory Optical in Saskatchewan and we’re looking to expand our Optician team.
This is a full-time role of 30‑40 hours per week. The location operates Monday through Sunday.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver exceptional customer service and educate customers on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring style, comfort, and optimal vision
- Interpret optical prescriptions provided by the optometrist
- Perform frame and facial measurements, ensuring proper fit and positioning of new eyewear, as well as repairs and adjustments
- Manage billing and payments for patients, insurers and other third parties
- Guide customers in selecting eyewear that combines fashion with function
