About the Job
- Comprehensive eye exams: Perform detailed eye exams to identify, diagnose, and manage conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, high blood pressure etc.
- Proficient in refracting
- Prescriptions: Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids
- Patient care: Provide pre- and postoperative care for patients undergoing eye surgery
- Counseling: Counsel patients on eye and general health, including contact lens care, visual hygiene, and lighting arrangements
- Collaborate with our team to provide comprehensive patient care. Refer patients to MD for any needed surgery as well as other healthcare providers as needed
