    Part Time Optometrist Position 

    Position Description : 

    Performs eye examinations and vision tests to determine the presence of visual, ocular and other abnormalities, and prescribes lenses, other optical aids or therapy.

    Essential position requirements

  • Be able to demonstrate ability in providing outstanding patient care;
  • Have successfully completed appropriate tertiary studies in Optometry;
  • Be registered and licenced with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency / Optometry Board of Australia;
  • Coach, train and mentor other Optical department employees;
  • Exercise discretion and confidentiality with all patient information.
  • Work with latest equipment (OCT / Retinal Camera and visual fields)
