Your Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to detect injury, disease, abnormalities, and vision defects
Operate advanced diagnostic equipment, including slit‑lamp biomicroscopy, fundus camera, OCT, non‑contact tonometer, and Humphrey visual field analyser
Clearly explain examination findings and provide professional advice and reassurance
Recommend suitable optical aids tailored to patients’ needs and lifestyle
Prepare referrals to ophthalmologists when medical intervention is required
Guide first‑time contact lens wearers on proper handling and care
