Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assists the orthopaedic physician/PA with patient care including casting, splinting, care of casts/splints/external fixators, and in also in patient intake, rooming, charting/documentation, etc.
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violation.
- Operates according to all policy and procedures, demonstrating competency and knowledge of the clinic environment.
- Assists physician with procedures; anticipates physician's needs and procures appropriate supplies prior to start of procedure.
- Maintains orderly and appropriately stocked treatment area and exam rooms.
- Assists with putting away supplies and room turnover.
