**Job Description**
Under the direction of Clinical Nutrition leadership (Senior Director, Director, Clinical Nutrition Manager), the Outpatient Certified Advanced Nutrition Coordinator (CANC) is responsible for activities that support patient focused care within their clinical specialty area. The CANC is an advanced and certified expert in his/her specialty and leads nutrition services in their designated ambulatory practice. The CANC coordinates activities for the practice, identifies performance opportunities, and supports the goals of the program. The CANC adheres to department/hospital philosophies, standards, objectives, and policies and procedures.
**Qualifications**
5+ years of clinical experience, including 2-3 years in specialty area Research experience preferred Registered dietitian (RD) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN) from the NYS Department of Education Office of the Professions r...
