Toolmaker - Night Shift
Direct Hire
$28 to $40+ per hour
Waterbury, CT.
Transfer Press experience - preferred
Deep Draw experience - preferred
Eyelet Production experience - preferred
Night Shift 5PM to 5AM
Key Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and maintain complex tooling, transfer fingers, and gauges
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions
- Set up tooling for production runs and perform changeovers
- Conduct sample runs and submit first-piece inspections for quality approval
- Troubleshoot production issues and make necessary tool adjustments or repairs
- Adjust machine speeds, feeds, and tooling to ensure optimal performance
