Registered Veterinary Technologist, RVT
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: Overnight Shift
Qualifications
- Completion of a Veterinary Technologist/Animal Health Technologist program (RVT eligible or registered)
- Ability and willingness to work overnight shifts on a full-time basis
- Strong triage and emergency assessment skills, including prioritization of urgent and critical cases
- Experience or confidence in patient assessment, anesthesia monitoring, catheter placement, and emergency procedures
- Ability to work independently overnight, while maintaining strong communication with DVMs and team members
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment
- Strong clinical judgment and decision‑making skills, with appropriate escalation when needed
- Commitment to accurate and timely medical record documentation
