PACKAGING BUYER
Develop and implement strategies including negotiation leadership, supplier selection, supplier relations, stakeholder management and contract implementation for the procurement of all packaging materials, such as corrugated cardboard, wooden and plastic pallets and containers, stretch film and others.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides expert packaging spend data cleansing and normalization for an improved spend data analysis
- Develops and implements purchasing strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, service delivery improvements and process efficiencies in line with business requirements
- Negotiates contract terms, prices, warranties, and delivery conditions with suppliers
- Works with operations to streamline the reorder process and improve and standardize part numbers across tool cribs
