Position is in office 5 days a week in NYC. Must have soft home goods packaging experience .
We are a relatively new soft home textiles company (think comforters, sheets, quilts, pillows, etc.) that sells to the off-price channel, Walmart, Target and others. We are looking to hire a Packaging Designer with soft home experience, a good vibe and unique approach to own the look of our products on shelf and online, from concept through production-ready files.
Responsibilities:
- Design retail packaging for bedding, sheets, and home textile products (boxes, sleeves, inserts, hangtags, labels)
- Build production-ready, die line-accurate files and prep artwork for print vendors
- Develop packaging that meets the spec and brand requirements of major retailers (Walmart, Target, Costco, TJX, Burlington, etc.)
- Partner with sales, sourcing, and overseas factories to ensure artwork is executed...
