Job Summary
Packing & Dispatch Operative at Imerys Minerals Ltd – West Thurrock.
Salary: £27,642 per annum, permanent, 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Operate big bagging and associated equipment.
- Bulk load lorries, containers and tautliners.
- Maintain concise logs of production.
- Respect all site safety rules.
- Remove FGS pallets from the palletiser and place them in stock, keeping spreadsheets up to date.
- Record operational, quality, safety and environmental information as required.
- Understand internal product specification sheets and quality tests.
- Ensure the palletiser does not run out of pallets or hoods.
- Maintain a clean safe work area.
- Record data for continuous improvement.
- Operate the packing and mixing plant, diagnosing faults through the HMI.
- Receive raw materials and transfer to silos.
