**WORK SHIFT**
+ Monday – Friday: 6:55 am to 3:25pm
+ 100% FTE, Days
+ Onsite
**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
+ The individual in this role will perform skilled painting work on interior and exterior of buildings and facilities and perform journey-level duties in skilled painting work.
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Paint a variety of surfaces to support UW Medical Center renovation projects.
+ Track time spent on projects, reporting time spent on time sheets.
+ Prepare surfaces for painting or finishing by scraping, sanding, washing, or otherwise removing dirt, grease, old finishes, and rust scale; remove paint from surfaces by using sanders, wire brushes, and paint and varnish remover.
+ Preparatory to painting, make minor repairs in plaster, sheetrock, metal, wood and masonry surfaces by filling with putty...
