Job Description
We’re seeking a Contract Painter / Prepper / Composite Technician for a 12‑month contract in our Langley Operations Department within the Helicopter Repair Center. You’ll report to the Crew Chief, Structures and work on unique helicopter paint schemes and graphics while supporting one of the industry’s leading aircraft paint shops.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare aircraft parts and surfaces for refinishing, including sanding, masking, cleaning, and plastic media blasting
- Apply primers, paint, stencils, decals, and other finishing materials in accordance with approved procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work environment
- Operate and maintain paint‑related equipment including spray guns, hoses, and paint booth equipment
