Job Description
**Amentum** is seeking a **Painter** located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Painter will paint and redecorates walls, woodwork and fixtures. The painter must be knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint required for different applications, preparing surface for painting by removing old finish or by placing putty or filler in nail holes and interstices, and applying paint with spray gun or brush.
**Job Requirements:**
+ Mix colors, oils, white lead and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color or consistency.
+ Stand or kneel for extended periods of time
+ Erect scaffolding/ladders safely, operate ventilation equipment, and clean up tools and work areas daily
+ Apply paint, stains, varnish, and sealers using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
+ Calculate paint needs and blend materials for the correct color and texture.
