Paralegal – Clinical Negligence
Location: Leeds/Hybrid. Hybrid working available – flexible working from home and in office.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on all KPI targets set by the firm.
- Progress cases in a timely, efficient, and proactive manner.
- Liaise with clients, experts, barristers, third‑party solicitors, and insurers as directed.
- Handle all aspects of pre‑ and post‑issue procedures under supervision.
- Ensure all actions per Proclaim Action List are completed promptly.
- Record time accurately.
- Maintain client files in good order per Lexcel and other QA requirements.
- Report to Senior Lawyer as required.
- Assist in the collection and collation of medical records.
- Prepare client documents such as witness statements.
- Deal with a caseload of Clinical Negligence cases in the early stages and assist team members with tasks.
