A plaintiff-side asbestos litigation firm in Emeryville is seeking a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join the team on a contract-to-hire basis. Responsibilities
+ Provide litigation support on plaintiff asbestos matters from intake through resolution
+ Assist with drafting, formatting, and filing pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
+ Manage case files, including organizing and maintaining documents and evidence
+ Handle written discovery, including preparing and responding to requests
+ Coordinate filings and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines
+ Maintain and track case calendars, deadlines, and key milestones
