Job Description
Paralegal requires:
- Must have experience with handling real estate closings independently and with real estate settlement software, such as Softpro.
- Willingness to learn other areas of law, such as debt collection, and may be asked to provide administrative support responsibilities to multiple attorneys.
- 5 years of paralegal experience with independent, end-to-end management of real estate closings, coordinating the closing, reviewing and inputting title information, and managing closing logistics from file opening through completion.
- Demonstrated experience drafting and delivering core real-estate closing documents (deeds, agreements of sale, affidavits) with accuracy suitable for recording/closing.
- Experience supporting multiple attorneys and handling related practice-area work (e.g., debt collection) as assigned, showing ability to manage a mixed caseload.
