Summary:
Under the direction of licensed attorneys, the Paralegal provides a wide variety of paralegal functions, which may include drafting legal documents and contracts concerning business transactions and acquisitions; performing basic case management skills; and acting as a front-end interface with teammates within UNC Health Pardee.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist General Counsel with coordination of contract review process
+ Timely prepare, review and proofread a high volume and diverse range of agreements, with a focus on physician employment agreements, real estate leases and vendor contracts
+ Revise contract language in partnership with General Counsel
+ Assist General Counsel in creation, use and updating of template and form documents
