Paramedic / Medic / EMT

As a paramedic / medic, you will provide pre-hospital care that ensures positive patient outcomes. You will work with other crew members to deliver medical support. You must be able to assess patients, exercise the principles of triage and provide emergency medical care for patient at scene or in ambulance during conveyance. You may be assigned to other projects depending on operational needs, and there are opportunities to take on Trainer roles to educate members of the public on first aid techniques. There are opportunities to provide event medical support, standby and Emergency / Non-Emergency medical conveyances. Career upgrades and prospects in other fields of emergency services are available for suitable and qualified candidates - these include air ambulance, sea rescue, event medical support and training.
