Paramedic PRN Nights

The Paramedic will assist the nursing and physician staff in providing patient care in the emergency room and med/surg unit as well as be an active member of the rapid response team. Paramedics perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, CARES values and standards. Allowable procedures and pursuant with the scope of care from the Oklahoma State Department of Health Standard of Care 310:641-5-30. While working the Paramedic shall continue to practice under the license of the Emergency Services Medical Director and direction of the Facility CNO.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborates in the assessment of the patient and/or situations in a timely, consistent and systematic manner. Assists RN in collection of admission data to be used in the assessment of patients at presentation to ED and appropriate procedures initiated.
