Job Description
The Pittsford Central School District is seeking paraprofessionals for the 2026–2027 school year. Most positions will be working one-to-one with a student, helping them manage classroom tasks, behavioral expectations, and performing other duties as outlined by the classroom teacher, including but not limited to:
+ Record keeping
+ Supervision of student(s)
+ Helping with daily planning of instructional outcomes
+ Attending all pertinent meetings
+ Creating a welcoming and affirming learning environment for all students
+ Assisting student(s) with academic assignments
+ Assisting student(s) with their project research, library and media skills, and basic computer skills, etc
+ Performing routine clerical duties such as: copying, filing, data entry and compiling attendance reports
+ Monitoring and supporting the implementation of student(s) programs
+ Assisting student(s) with their daily activities
