Church of the Good Shepherd, a Roman Catholic parish in the Diocese of Los Angeles, seeks a qualified and experienced Organist to provide musical leadership for parish liturgies and special celebrations.


The successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of Roman Catholic liturgical worship and demonstrate exceptional organ performance skills in support of congregational song, choral music, and the sacred liturgy.


The successful candidate will…

  • serve as principal organist for weekend Masses, Holy Days of Obligation, and other parish liturgies.

  • accompany the parish choir for rehearsals and liturgical celebrations.

  • provide organ music for weddings, funerals, and special diocesan or parish events as requested.

  • collaborate with clergy, music ministry director, cantors, and choir members in coordinating and executing liturgical music.
