Overview
Job title : Park Ranger – East Town Park
Location : East Town Park, Haverhill (West Suffolk)
Contract : Permanent; 780 annualised hours per year (average of 14.96 hours per week) on a fixed rota
Salary : Starting salary £10,508.77 per annum (pro rata for 14.96 hours per week) plus employee benefits package (pay award pending)
Responsibilities
- Working with volunteers on conservation, maintenance and landscaping tasks
- patrolling parks and public open spaces
- meeting and advising the public in the use of the facilities
- enforcing regulations
- promoting a customer-oriented approach
- Assisting in the running of events & activities
- maintaining the protection and security of all the facilities and equipment within the parks, including flora and fauna and ancient monuments
