The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for handling the administrative duties for the Kids Cottage Children’s Learning Center. This position reports to the Director of the Suffolk Community College Association, Inc., Kids Cottage Children’s Learning Center. The responsibilities include the following:
Schedule appointments: compose routine correspondence, organize and maintain office supplies and files. Receive visitors, answer, screen, and route telephone calls; furnish information regarding agency functions and activities to callers/visitors. Operate the word processing program and children’s learning program in order to maintain the center’s records. Prepare various statements and reports, maintain schedule and attendance records, CACFP records, medical records and daily maintenance of accounts receivable.
