Job Description
Title: Part-time Food Service Workers and Sub Part-time Food Service Workers
Hours: 10:45am-1:45pm, daily or as needed and when school is in session
PayScale: $20.79/hr if hired part-time; $17.71/hr if hired as a sub
Description: North Bellmore is seeking part-time and part-time substitute food service workers for the 2025-2026 school year. Food service workers report directly to the Director of Food Services and the building principal.
Expectations:
+ Basic knowledge of the proper method of serving food
+ Basic knowledge of the principles and practices of sanitation and personal hygiene as applied to the preparation and serving of food
+ Ability to use and care for food service equipment and appliances
+ Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
+ Ability to perform physical activity of position
+ Ability to use a cash register
+ Other duties, as assigned
