Job Description
IMS has an immediate opening for a part-time Athletic Trainer to provide game day and practice coverage beginning this fall. Games are typically on Wednesday and Friday afternoons ranging from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, but may involve a Saturday. Practices are between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Athletic Trainer Responsibilities Provide immediate care during times of physical activity, including being present at interscholastic events Responsible for evaluation and emergency care of sports related injuries, concussion protocols, injury prevention and rehabilitation Maintain communication with the Athletic Director regarding athlete injury status Provide respectful communication, following all HIPAA regulations and guidelines on student health matters between coaches, parents and health care providers Maintain complete and accurate records and pertinent medical data Experience 1-3 years' experience working as a certified athletic trainer preferred Experience ...
