Job Description
Part‑time Intermediate / High School Teacher/Tutor – Oxford Learning Scarborough Kingston Sheppard. The role requires teaching students in grades 8‑12 in math and science. Applicants have accurate curriculum knowledge and a passion for teaching.
Position Requirements
- Work hours: 3:00 pm‑8:00 pm after-school and evenings; some Saturdays 10:00 am‑3:00 pm.
- Commitment to end of term (June) preferred; summer extension is better.
- In‑person teaching only; must commute to Scarborough.
- Vulnerable sector screening mandatory.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience considered.
- Teaching certification an asset.
