Job Description
We have the opportunity for a Science Technician to join our Northampton team on a part-time (0.4FTE) 16 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Skills & Experience
- To support effective teaching and learning through the efficient, effective and safe development of Science resources, providing technical support to the Teacher of Science
- To undertake preparations of materials for student’s practical work, including IT based activities
- To assist in the production of technical information that is used by staff and students
- To understand and be aware of all health and safety instructions on the use of department resources (e.g. tools, materials, equipment etc)
- To have general oversight/maintenance of resources within the department
- To report maintenance and repair of school equipment and fittings as required
