Responsibilities
- Creating new recipes
- Preparing ingredients and measuring ingredients
- Mixing ingredients to make pastry doughs and batters
- Baking desserts using ovens and other equipment
- Decorating cakes with icing and other materials as required
- Ensuring that all desserts meet specified standards of taste, texture and quality
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in the pastry chef field
- Excellent organizational skills
