**Johns Hopkins Surgical Pathology**
**Gross Room**
**M-F 9-5:30p**
**• Performs gross examination of complex surgical specimens, including dissection, description, and tissue sectioning of historical preparation.**
**• Performs specimen photography and radiography as needed**
**License/certification**
**• Must be certified PA (ASCP or department of an approved certifying agency)**
**Prior experience in a hospital setting is required.**
**Education**
**Graduation from NAACLS-accredited Baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate Pathologist Assistant Training and ASCP BOR certified, or completion of a Bachelor's degree with a major/minor or equivalent in any of the biological or allied health sciences.**
