Job Title: Pathologists’ Assistant



Job Location: Fredericksburg, VA



Schedule: Day Shift



Dates: June 22 - June 26th



Pay Range: $3,300 *does not include travel reimbursements or rental car



Qualifications:

• 2+ years current Pathology Assistant experience [required]
  
• (PA)ASCP required.  Equivalent certification not accepted [required]
  
• Master Degree [Preferred], but will review those with Bachelor Degree
  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Review patient history at the time of gross examination to ensure accurate specimen handling
  
• Perform gross examination, dissection, and documentation of surgical specimens
  
• Capture gross photographs as needed and perform photomicrography for tumor conferences
