Pathology Coordinator – Sarum Road Hospital, Winchester
We are looking for a Pathology Coordinator to join our pathology department at Sarum Road Hospital, part of Circle Health Group. This is a full‑time permanent role of 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern. Salary is up to £30,000 per year, depending on experience, training and qualification.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day‑to‑day coordination of pathology services, ensuring timely and accurate processing of diagnostic tests.
- Liaise with internal departments and external laboratories to manage test requests, collections, and result reporting.
- Act as the first point of contact for pathology‑related queries from clinical staff, consultants, and laboratory providers.
- Ensure results are communicated promptly to the appropriate clinical teams, escalating abnormal or urgent results as necessary.
