Job Description
The Patient Service Representative is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by managing a high volume of inbound calls and supporting patient scheduling and communication needs. This role serves as a key point of contact between patients, providers, and internal departments to ensure accurate appointment management and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
+ Answer 60–80 inbound calls per day from patients, vendors, insurance companies, and medical facilities.
+ Provide professional, courteous customer service by greeting, listening, assisting, and closing each call effectively.
+ Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments via phone, SMS, and patient portal per clinic protocols.
+ Screen and route calls appropriately to ensure accurate registration and appointment follow‑up in the EMR.
