Major/Essential Functions
Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and relay messages to the appropriate nurseAccurately enter and update patient demographics to ensure clean insurance claim submissionsRespond quickly to patient and insurance company inquiries, including prior authorizations and referrVerify insurance coverage and obtain required authorizations before scheduling appointments.Make outgoing calls to patients for appointment reminders, rescheduling, and general clinic communication?Document all communications in EMR. Handle daily cash transactions, including accepting payments and performing end-of-day cash counts.Attend and actively participate in monthly departmental meetings.Maintain current knowledge of department and HSC policies and procedures to ensure compliance.Preferred Qualifications
