Summary
Supervises day to day activities and operations of the payroll department, providing supervision and training to lower level payroll staff. Ensures timeliness and accuracy of the weekly payroll. Assumes the responsibilities of the payroll supervisor in supervisor's absence. Ensures that payroll processes are in compliance with State and Federal laws concerning employee pay as well as company policies and collective bargaining agreements. Responsible in the performance and productivity affecting payroll goals. Reports to the Payroll Supervisor and/or General Accounting Manager.
