The Payroll Examiner 1 works in the Office of Human Resources, performing the full range of payroll processing tasks and activities.
In order to maintain a welcoming environment for prospective students, students, community members, and visiting university staff, the duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Process tax forms, direct deposits, deductions and miscellaneous payments
+ Review and process time records for temporary hourly and college work study employees
+ Review and update leave accruals for adjunct faculty
+ Assist in processing salary transactions for adjunct faculty
+ Respond to request for employment verifications
+ Run payroll queries and reports
+ Provide excellent customer service, including telephone, e-mail or in person inquiries
