This position is responsible for verification, processing and analysis of payroll information in compliance with related legislation, payroll guidelines and Board policies and procedures.
Major Responsibilities
- To accurately process all authorized payroll transactions according to pay schedules and due dates.
- To understand and apply current salary rates, collective agreements and upgrades to payroll systems in compliance with federal and provincial legislation, internal controls and audit requirements, Pension & Benefits Act and Board policies and procedures.
