About the Opportunity
- Be responsible for the preparation and processing of weekly payroll for Union, Non-Union hourly and salaried employees from end to end
- Audit payroll processing to ensure accuracy
- Address payroll issues
- Ensure all data files are complete and approved for transmission
- Review and ensure accuracy of approved timesheets and other input documents
- Track and enter all garnishments and other special payroll deductions
- Administer the issuance of T4's, ROE's, T2200, and various payroll reports as requested
- Ensure that all salaries/wages are paid accurately and in accordance with regulations promptly
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure payroll and other personnel records are accurate and up to date
