The position focuses on preparing IT equipment for deployment by following detailed written instructions to configure, test, and validate devices to ensure proper functionality before shipment to customers. Responsibilities include kitting equipment based on client needs, unboxing and re-boxing items, cleaning and inspecting devices, and using basic tools when necessary. The technician will also escalate any technical issues to a supervisor, participate in team meetings, suggest process improvements, and complete other assigned tasks. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple low-complexity priorities, and effective communication and teamwork skills. Candidates should have basic Windows knowledge, familiarity with hardware peripherals, and the ability to follow documentation accurately. The role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 60 pounds and handling equipment about half of the time.
